The key institutions dealing internationally with Information Technology and Communications, European standards and Customs directives, acknowledge the differential know-how and value-proposition of EurTradeNet.

EurTradeNet is aimed at enterprises, traders and intermediate agents with the need to move goods through the European space and to seek the off-country online submittal of customs procedures. The ETN Alliance extends the National scope of the leading Customs-Related Service Providers to a trans-European level.

These CRSPs are the ones serving the information handling and communication with customs authorities in their own country, the deployers of the new regulations and directives coming from the European Commission and the other relevant international bodies in eCustoms. Under a common professional umbrella, the ETN partners work together to strengthen their respective markets by offering a coordinated service portfolio, based on their local know-how but also on all the complementary expertise available Europe-wide, developing unified standards and interconnecting their solutions cross-border.

Hence EurTradeNet offers a valuable and complementary vision on the needs and requirements of the different actors they serve Europe-wide (importers and exporters, forwarders and integrators, sea and air freight), having all the pieces for streamlining the trans-National customs handling process, and promoting homogenisation and unified interchanging standards through multi-entity professional collaborations.

The global institutions dealing with customs matters, namely the World Customs Organisation and DG TAXUD at the European Commission, have acknowledged the differential expertise of EurTradeNet, inviting it more and more to take part in their internal discussions and working groups. This way the ETN partners upgrade their professional prestige from the local to the global level, collaborating in the redesign of all customs procedures, the new electronic systems and the supporting tools to be deployed in the EU.
